In 1999, two women players stood above the rest, one of whom rewrote the record books.

#3090, Etobicoke, Ontario

Five-time World Champion, four-time Player of the Year, Disc Golf Hall of Fame, former PDGA Commissioner and Board Member, PhD scientist away from the course.

1999: Played 15 events for 164 points (3rd) and $2983 (2nd). In the money: 100%.

Best: Six wins including Browns-n-Bows (only player to beat Juliana in singles in 1999), four SuperTour 2nd place finishes.

Worlds: 2nd


Juliana Bower Juliana Bower
#7438, Indianola, Iowa

With back to back World Championships, and a virtually unbeaten record on Tour, Juliana is taking women's disc golf to the next level and into the 21st century.

1999: Played 31 events for 478 points (1st) and $8777 (1st), all records. In the money: 100%.

Best: 29 Tour wins (record), including 20 (!!!) SuperTours, Women's Nationals, and World Doubles. (Her only non-1sts were 2nds at Browns-n-Bows and Worlds Mixed Doubles.)
