Today divisional doubles were held.

Al and I played together as always. We shot pretty darned well but only finished tied for 5th. I figured that we made 6 short game errors over the 48 holes. In order to win we would have had to make only one error. That's mighty tough. The winners of Open divisional doubles were Rivers Sherod and Eric Tracy. They won in a playoff over Barry Schultz and Dr. Rick Voakes. We just got finished so I don't know how the other divisions fared. Oh! The winners from yesterdays mixed doubles were Scott Stokely and Elaine King. Shawn Sinclair and Juliana Bower were second after the playoff. As I type this the player's meeting for Worlds is going on. 850 or so disc golfers, their family and friends. Makes quite a racket when everyone starts cheering. What a sight to behold. Everyone is sitting under a tent that cost $15,000 to rent for this event. Way to go Jim Kenner and Discraft. This is all totally amazing and I'm afraid I have to get back to being a part of it. Look for more tomorrow after the first round of singles play.
