Darren will be playing in the Open division and possibly in the Masters division while we are on the road. He will travel with us until we finish at the team challenge and then we'll see how things are going.

We left Ann Arbor yesterday at noon and arrived in Columbus, OH at about 5pm. We drove straight to the Big Run course and played it a couple of times.

Darren Harper pulls bigtime. It's an interesting course. The front 9 is mostly open and long with a lot of walking paths and roads that are O.B... the back nine plays through some tough woods. Numerous small diameter tall trees and extremely (EXTREMELY) tight fairways. It will be nearly impossible to play the 18 holes without a few bogeys per round. We will have to play the course 4 times during the B-Tier tournament that starts tomorrow. We will practice the course a bit more today and shoot the doubles this afternoon. Al says that my words don't come close to describing just how difficult the course is. Everyone will see just how difficult when we post our scores.

We stayed at a small campground last night a few exits away from the course. We got in at about 10:30 and cooked some popcorn and had snacks. We got some burgers to grill, but there were no grills or firepits at the campgrounds. It is early morning now. Everyone is just finishing up with their showers.

More to come after the tournament is over on Sunday evening.

-Todd
